Decided to just say screw it and apply for the last few cards I want after instant-approval from PenFed tonight so I started with Discover.
After putting everything in and clicking the magic button, nearly instantly got the "we'll let you know in 5-7 days, or you can call us to speed up the process". Instant like... 2 seconds max.
When I pulled up the application status page, it says the application process is down and unavailable for a few hours for maintenance.
As a note, I did their prequal which matched the 13.24-16.24 APR in the dozen or so mailers the've sent me over the last 2 months, and just to test I ran a prequal check for bogus info and that one came back with 11.24-24.24% so I think it's not nearly as fake as people say.
Anyhow... I guess just see what happens tomorrow?
