Hey Hang in There,
I recieved an offer in the mail and apped with 660 and got Denied! 12 months later I re app'd when I hit 700 and got an instant approval for $6,500 so u never know!
Applied tonight for the fourth time I think and got approved for $1,000. No 0% intro and the highest APR they offer but I'm in and I'll work on the other stuff later.

@MyLoFICO wrote:Thanks for the info. I will do that. I have my AR (annual report?) now. I pulled them a week or so ago. Plus, my UTIL is probably at 24% now as that 30% is almost a month old and I put my entire tax refund on it plus an extra paycheck.
If you pulled your annual credit reports for annualcreditreport-dot-com, you should be able to see the "Inquiries That Don't Impact Your Credit" section on the EQ report. Check for "AR-Disover Financial SVCS" .."AR" stands for "Account Review" in this case, which is exactly what it is. That will be the last snapshot they have internally of your EQ file...you might see more than one from them which might give your an indication how often they are checking in on you...
Nothing on EQF, TU has one every month on the 20th. EXP report is not available from AR yet.
Congrats, @EAJuggalo!
lol..if I saw this thread when I searched then I wouldn't have posted asking if I should reapply.
I was denied for no real reason other than they coudln't match my info to my credit report yet the hard pull through Equifax is sitting there. I was thinking of reapplying for the Secured. (I used the find my card link on their website and apparently they show Discover It Cash Card for everyone) but I'm still torn.

3rd time was the charm for me, but I was a bad boy when I was in my very ealry 20's charged off a Discover Plat and Discover Gold both well over $3,000 each (after I stopped working there at least). Applied in Feb 2014, denied, Mar 2015, denied, May 2015 -> Approved...but there was a lot of clean up on my CRA's that went into the May approval.
Did they tell you that was why you were denied though? I screwed myself with them years ago..but that wasn't why they said they denied me. They just said they couldn't match me to a profile like my address or social was wrong..but the hard pull is there.
I don't think its a big mystery, too many new accounts. Cool your heals for at least 6 months, 12 is better and show some loyatly to the banks that showe faith in you. Why do you need so many cards so soon? Chill out and enjoy your wins.

We told you to call them. They will remove the HP for a denial based on the inability to verify your identity.
Hang in there. It's coming for sure...sorry for the decline..
