Re: Discover It

Very sorry to hear that. Did they provide a reason for the denial?

Tell us more about joint account. Sound like they want to approve you with a spouse or SO? Define "joint account". That sounds like a way to go to me.

Re: Discover It

They said they can't approve me on my own right now, but could do it with a joint account. My wife recently went through a medical disaster that lasted for two years, so her credit is pretty shaky with a bunch of medical collections and she's a stay at home mother to our daughter, so I don't think that'd work. However, I did get a bity antsy and applied for the Barclay Apple Rewards Visa and got instantly approved for $1,500.00! I know to some this would be a "toy limit" but for me with my two little secured cards of $250 and $500 and starting rebuilding my credit back in February with all bureaus in the low 500s this is a HUGE victory for me!

What is a SO?

Re: Discover It

SO = Significant Other. In these days where all kinds of people live together, parner, etc., it is never assumed that people are husband or wife.
