Thinking of appling for the Discover It. How are they with new accounts and inquires? Have a 703 Fico on the report they should pull for me.
I don't know about the inquiry thing -but DISCOVERIT was the FIRST card I got on my rebuild. Score was around 603 when I got it.....I think there were 2 inquiries is all - and they pulled TU.....
HTH
They usually pull Equifax. At least from my experience that was the only report the pulled. Capital One might be a better choice for a first card. YMMV.
They seem to like people just out of BK7's, dislike people with a ton of credit even with clean profiles.. Otherwise they are all over the board on whom they approve. Not really inquiry sensitive at all. Best approval chances are > 700 although a ton of exceptions to rule as alot of people get approved with 620's aka BK's or new to credit. They typically pull EQ for most, but have been known to pull TU or Exp for that matter. They are the most unpredictable of any lender on what they look for other than they like to be one of your first cards this is just my take on them.
They pulled Equifax for me. I had 8 inquiries at the time, 7 of which were in the last 6 months. I was just approved a couple of weeks ago with a SL of $6,500.
I got approved with EQ 630, 2 inquiries and 3 baddies (not recent), $1400. Discover is weird but I'm not complaining.
