No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Functions just like the unsecured version...... congrats.
Discover is great to be in with and it seems from your profile that you have a lot of store cards - I'd say to accept the offer.

Applied for this card back in March but I was denied. My profile has improved significantly since then. I figured if I was denied there's a big chance I would be offered the secured card.
Applied today and I got a counteroffer for the secured card. I have a feeling I should jump on this and get in now.
Yes, you should as it is a great card and will grow with you.

Thank guys. Yes I have a good bit of store cards but I actually shop at these stores.
Yes, but shop at those stores and pay with your Quicksilver card and get 1.5% cashback rewards. Or buy something through the Discover Deals portal at Walmart.com for in store pickup and get 5% cashback rewards. The only thing store cards are good for is 0% deferred interest for large purchases.
I have just 2 store cards, Walmart & Lowes, and I've pretty much stopped using them. My Barclays Rewards MC gives me 2% rewards for any Walmart purchase, so why would I pay with my Walmart card? Home improvement stores is the current quarter 5% rewards category for Discover, so I don't even carry my Lowes card in my wallet anymore. I just use those store cards for small purchases every now & then just to keep them active and my $5k CLs intact.

You'd be better to get major credit cards that have rewards and cash back benefits and close down the store ones. Too many store cards and not enough majors can make it difficult for lenders to want to apporve you for more majors. Plus, the interest rate on store cards is sky high.
