Discover Limit - do they have one?

Ok - maybe I hit my ceiling with them - I've had this card almost two years in October 17 - started at 5500 - at first would get no luv then rode the train a while too - today I'm at 31k - second highest CL behind my $35k Amex - well, they have flat out said no my last 2requests like not even the two day response ugh - letters state not using my current limit enough but it use to say that in the beginning- I've never used more than say 2500 on the card and that may have been once - keep activity here and there maybe 4-5 transactions a month - I have slowed down some from when it has my favorite categories for cash back - restaurants - but didn't think that would be a big deal- neway they don't luv me nemore - so guess I'll wait a bit but has been at least 4 -5 months since my last increase. Today I also tried my Amex - was due for my 1 year increase in June - have got two in the past before - so this is my highest limit card and I went for $45k to try and avoid any paperwork - well it gave me the pending message and never had before.. I wonder how high discover limits go too on their cards and probably hit my ceiling with Amex based on income and available credit at almost $200k across my multiple bank cards .. hmmm

Discovers just in a pouty mood recently haha. Discover definetely goes higher than 31k. It just might be the issue they are dealing with right now. Probably putting a hold on massive cli with all the defaults they are seeing.

They broke something back in march after trying to fix something else.  Well, now it seems what they tried to fix is happening again...go figure.  

Anyway.... I doubt the ceiling is 31K.  The odd thing is that your amex request went pending?  depending on the time of day and/or if it was a weekend request it might have been maintenance on the computers that caused the delayed response.

TCL over $200K...... that's not a cause for concern.....I'm over 200K as well and still went and snagged another ~$46K in new cards about a month ago. 

Don't over think things and just keep trying and eventually we will win the battle for CLI's
