I would have 100% used the mailer!!!

Do you think it's too late to app again with the mailer? Would I get 2 HP and an auto decline at this point? Meh...CSRs give the worst advice.

I would. But don't want a 3rd HP from Discover in 5 months....ahh this sucks. Should have used the mailer instead Smiley Sad

I don't think they would accept another application within 30 days.

No. It's too late. Told you to use the mailer. Sorry.

They will not accept another application. Maybe in 30 days. But unless report improves. Best to wait 3 months.

Re: Discover Mailer, pull the trigger?

Yeah I'm done with them until these baddies fall off. Not going to waste 3 HPs on them. Already lost 2

Re: Discover Mailer, pull the trigger?

When I was first finished with my rebuilding, I got a mailer from Discover saying I was pre-approved and figured it was a firm invitation. I used the code on the mailer and was still denied with scores in the 700s. If you search the forums, you'll find out that Discover's mailers are not firm pre-approvals, so take it for what it is. You didn't screw up by not using the mailer, you likely would have been denied either way. Wait until the baddies fall off, then try again.
