I don't care about interest rates.  APR is irrelevant when you PIF and don't carry balances.  A best practice for anyone that sweats interest rates is to adopt a non-balance-carrying PIF philosophy.

You dont care but this is why others do. We *know* your a transactor already... We could go into this argument again but there are perfectly acceptable reasons why people care.. its like I dont care about getting an 850 credit score... YCMV... and it was a general answer and not specifically a reply to you... so you can just disregard it, esp since this thread is not about you..... I also think folks sweating over AZEO is absurd UNLESS they are apping for something.... I feel that my scores dictate better offers and that waiting for such, even if I dont use the better offers... is prudent..... Im leaving out my not so FSR remarks but suffice it to say.. Credit is a tool to be used wisely, not sit on a shelf behind glass just looking pretty .... Im not one for micromanagement, and think paying before statement cuts except if i cant make further purchases or nearing being maxxed out... Unless im apping for a loan, or a card,  worrying about paying BEFORE a statement cut is just needless drama....

Remember utilization does not have memory...

And you do not need an 850 score to get the best offers...

Sick of folks shaming folks for using tools...

I would wait till your score reach the 700 mark just to be safe , otherwise it might be decline ...

I'm not sure what any of that has to do with anything.  Being a Transactor is the best advice that anyone on this forum can be given and advice that Revolvers can benefit greatly from.  The point is that if someone is sweating interest rates, it's because they plan on carrying balances [where interest rates are relevant] and that's something they should really reconsider doing.  You're correct that there is absolutely nothing to argue here.
