OMG!! I'm new to this forum and didn't know anything about the Disco Prequal site until I stumbled upon your post tonight. I immediately applied and was approved for $9500. That's more than the 4 CC I have, combined! Congrats to you and thanks for sharing
I can't help but feel sore over Discover's algorithm for determining SL's. I aquired my it card at 720 fico and was slapped with a $1000 limit.
@ Roy21, i think in my case it's due to my charge off with them from 2014 for $1800, i did pay it in full in 2015, but Discover is still holding a grudge. I am ok with that, it did feel good to pay it in full. I will be patient with them.
I'm curious what DIscover prequal page tells you if you already received a Discover card in less than a year? Anyone know?
I'm due for my secured card to graduate in the next 30 days so I'm not doing any prequals there, and my 1 year anniversary isn't until March 2018 so I have many months to wait to get my second Discover card.

@Anonymous I got a Discover card around April, and combined the limit into my old Discover (apparently you aren't supposed to do this, but it took me a week to get it done with a very nice supervisor), and I'm showing a preapproval for It / Chrome and Miles / It depending on what I tell them I'm interested in. All of them are showing 14 months 0 percent and 11.99% after that. Are you only talking about a secured card within the last year, or all Discover cards?
Gotta say I am happy to see so many having luck securing a new Discover card!
