wrote:They definitely pulled my EX but not sure on if they pulled EQ too yet I have to check. But I am able to monitor my EX for free and it shows Discover pulled my EX.
Now I have to check if they pulled EQ as well.
Which one is shown on your score card? EX, EQ, TU?
Trying to put some peices together.

I have it opposite. My scorecard displays TransUnion fico, while Discover uses EQ for a new account. I'm in California if it makes any difference.

wrote:Thanks for all the info in this thread everyone! I just got preapproved for two discover it cards thru the pre approval. I use the scoreboard got 18.99% solid apr and went ahead with the app and was approved with a $6k SL! This is my first high starting limit after starting my credit rebuild a year ago. I have one capital one platinum card with a $500 limit and couldn't believe what I was approved for! Current scores are: 17% utilization no derogs completely clear report.
Fico 8 719
Equi 685Trans 685
So far no new HP will update if I get one from opening this account usually I get alerts right away so this is looking really good for the scoreboard pre approval process!
**** What state are you in ? and which is on your score card? Ex? EQ? TU?
Thanks!
KeenanF27, i too get that same message when checking the prequal on Discover, but my reason is due to me having a paid chargeoff with them from 2014. I did apply in the summer of 2017 and was offered a secured card but declined, just gonna be patient and wait it out.
But, the good part is that in my denial letter, it stated they did not do a hard pull.

Not sure why I get the message. Never had a Discover card before and nothing weird on my credit reports.

+1 Me too! Same error message yesterday! Bet the site was down! LOL
Almost 2 years Post BK.
I just got approved trough the new pre-approval site. Went to the Discover Scorecard = 636, from there I tried the pre-aproval soft pulled.
The funny part is that I was denied less then a month ago for the secured card. LOC $500. Low but is a start for me.
