Hi!
I was an authorized user on my wife's Discover Card. When my wife passed away the account was closed/charged off the balance at the time was $31.00 on a $$22k credit limit. The account had been open since the 1980's. Without lates. My question is I had the CRA remove the record from my files. I am working on rebuilding and wonder if I would be blacklisted by Discover becasue I was an authorized user? I never once actually used the card if that matters. The exact wording on the charge off was Charge Off/Account Closed Consumer or Account owner deceased.
I have a few other things to clear before applying however I don't want a hard pull is it's likely that I am blacklisted. I have never had a Discover Card of my own.

You were only an AU so therefore they technically can't come after you for the debt and should not be able to put it on your file.
