The ones I've seen that have unsecured unsecured at the limit they put in, but I have seen at least one report of someone being able to request a CLI right after and it was granted so there's that possiblity.

Once Discover likes you, the floodgates open.  It just may take a while.

They don't like me quite yet, hahaha.  One day.

I was recently approved for the Discover Secured card and will slowly increase my limit via incrimental deposits throughout the year and during month 11 just prior to th ecard raduating I will max out the secured limit. This is just my strategy with the card.
