Hi alphabravo,

After you receive the card, you can go online and there's an option of different card colors/designs but I'm pretty sure you have to wait until you get the card.

Would it be a good idea to put some more money down on my Discover secured card if I think it's going to graduate soon?

Most people seem to say that the limit they had before graduation carried over after graduation, so I'd say it's a good idea to up your limit with an additional deposit if you believe it will graduate soon. Some people also get a CLI above that initial limit, as well, but not always. I plan to add some to my limit if I can, because mine should hopefully graduate in the next 3-6 months.

I think most builders (as opposed to rebuilders) with thin files have gotten a decent CLI with their graduation. My auto-CLI brought me just over 4x my deposit, and my double dip brought me to 6x.
