Discover not allowing a 2nd card

Everyone seems to brag about getting 2 disocover cards, but I cannot. Have tried several times

Oh -- then I don't know... I know their "rule" is 12 months after the first card which is why I asked -- you're obviously well beyond that so why not call them and see?

I... don't know... lol. If they do you can say that you want one to use for carrying a balance transfer and the other for daily spend.

Say, "because you offer it."

Tell them you want the first year cash back match or an extended BT offer
