Hopefully that will rub off on me 😬
I'm sure you'll have success! I have to say, though, I am a little embarrassed at how impatient I've been with them. I don't see an emoji for sheepish grin, or I would use it.

I had told myself I would not try for a CLI until 7-1.....but now.....😳 Ummmm I will keep you posted 😂

Being impatient around here comes with the territory Bella! That's why I wanted to put something comprehensive together and try to stay on top of Disco threads to give some insight and encouragement. It's alright to be impatient once you're in the door with Disco but counter productive before they let you in the door. I was hitting them up every week for part of the first year but my intent was trying to get their timing down to more of a science. Obviously it didn't do much other than provide some data points since they didn't really budge much quicker during those times if not went a bit longer to a 90 day spread. Now they're opening up with consistent 6K every other month. I think the $800 is a good step in the right direction and think if you went every other month it should more than double the amount with the lessened frequency. Then again we don't have it down to a science either quite yet but there's a pretty good idea while painting the picture with them.
Thanks again for putting all the work into gathering datapoints! I am very tempted to wait 60 days to ask for my next CLI, just to see what happens. We'll see if I can make it!
Question for Discover analytical minds.
After finally getting a $2K CLI instead of the usual 500 with the Slider, and a FULL WEEK before my statement even cuts (which is tomorrow now), once the account screen shows the new FICO TU along with the new statement, if you was to make a new request do you think there's a chance of drawing a new CLI so soon (1 week), or should i just count those lucky stars and just give it another 30 days first?
After the first few months of having the card I was requesting them weekly for timing purposes. Never got anything in that short of a time frame other than the double dip with the auto/manual first increases. It doesn't hurt to try since it's a SP but, likelyhood of getting more out of them under 30 days is slim to none.

Thanks
Since it's still a SP i will give that a magical go and see what they say.
@FireMedic1 wrote:@Anonymous My account opened 8/21 closed 9/9. It was a short statement. 58 days after opening I got a $800 Luv button increase 10/11. I did the Luv again on day 90 and got the 2 day message. Heard nothng until the mail showed up yesterday alomst 2 weeks later saying "Insufficent experience with current credit limint on Discover Card". Now that my third full statement ended and PIF. Ran $1250.00. Nothing. No auto cli as of yet. So I'm just gonna let it sit and see what they do. I'll have better luck with my C1 WEMC QS in a couple week after it hits 90 days. They have always given 2k+ since last years rebuild. Oh well.
Well on day 120 (today 12/23) woke up to a $1200 auto luv increase. I'll take it. Thanks Discover! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays All!
Come on Fire!!!! Hit that button and collect the rest of your money on the table!!!
My CL was $19,500 and was increased in big chunks of $2,500 - $6,500 credit line increases over 20 months before I closed it.
I waited 45 - 90 days before requesting a CLI.
I see everyone getting 0% promos, though I ever used them I always liked having them and that is what I miss about Discover.
