So I checked our accounts today. Neither received a CLI.

Mine has that stupid message again, you are a valued customer do you want to try for a CLI for the 15 thousandth time and get a 3-5 day message. Also if you hit the CLI link it allows you to try for a cli again. The trick in the old days was if you were being reviewed for a cli, it would still give you the 2 day message.

DW's account still shows the 2 day message....

A few days ago on mine (Discover's fake cli message)and about a month ago on DW.

I hope DW gets some luv on hers since its only at $1500 and shes been using it alot.

I use mine quite a bit also but not much luv to anyone above 20k.

I haven't received a cli since 1/1/17 and DW since 5/16/17 auto increase of $300.

Yeah, I got the oh you're wonderful go ahead and hit the button message as well.

20K+ seems to be an issue getting past the front door but, there have been a couple of them in the last couple of days. (my last was 2/1 \ was on the 60-day method \ still getting the insuff experience)

I suspect we'll start seeing more movement now and August now that 3 months has passed since the last system change 3/29.  

Within the last few days the 2-day has come back to the party which is a good indication considering it's better than a denial with a potential chance of approval later on if someone manually double checks the report of denials like some have reported a CLI showing up 2- 3 days later after the denial.

A few data points.
Received my card in March
Approved for first cli on June 3 of $500
Approved for $500 on July 4. Looks like im on the 31 day/500 train, fine by me
I tried to double dip but it was a no go, rep wanted to do a hp.
Rep stated that i can apply for a cli at any time as long as 30 days apart and also that they will only consider 2 cli within 90 days.

Thanks for you advice on discover and amex Austin! They are growing already.

Also, i received my first cli before 90 days. I was accepted on March 12 and first cli June 3. It was a week after my 3rd statement cut though.

The rep is incorrect here, as you can apply for a CLI at any time regardless of if they are 30 days apart.  You can apply every single day if you want.  Also, while it isn't common, people have reported receiving two CLIs in a 30 day period... say 21 days apart.  As always, there are exceptions to every commonly believed "rule" out there.

Another?  Did you get rid of your first?

I asked this question last year, but it's probably worth asking again at this point.  How many people have closed their IT and opened another?  Since the card is essentially half as good after the first year is up, I'm curious how many people have closed their original to open another to take advantage of the double CB promo for the first year.

Haven't closed mine just yet. But seeing all these huge SL of late is really tempting me. I'm too am curious to how many have actually closed their IT and reopened recently.
