Hi BBS - I'm only at 4.2K and got denied with the 3-5 message on the 1st as well. I had two successful CLIs prior. The first was a little more than 90 days after card opening, and it took me from like $1.2K to 2.7K. The second was 30 days after that one (took me from 2.7K to 4.2K). The one I just did was about 45 days later. It was also after my biggest month of spend yet, where the previous month's spend was the lowest yet. Hope this is an interesting data point.Update: I'm at 66 days. Last statement cut at 1% UTIL - denied with the 3-5 day. This month's statement (cut 4/5) was 15% UTIL. Pressed CLI again, and again got the 3-5 inexperience message. Definitely frustrated with them (as I'm sure you are, Austin and BBS!). I would put more spend through the card if my SL was higher; I don't like >10% UTILs. Oh well. Time to back off the spending for them to the 1-5% range since they won't share the luv.
Wooohoo! After 2 or 3 failed CLI reqs (3-5 day msg), I logged on today to find an automatic CLI of $1K! $4.2K SL to $5.2K. I decided I might as well try to double dip aaaaand nada.. 3-5 day msg. Oh well - happy to see some luv. Slow and steady wins the race. Hope this data point helps!
Interesting that this data point above may suggest that the "double dip" may no longer be working either...
My DW fell for it today. Had Request Credit Line Increase under credit line and the stupid little message that says to check for an increase because your a good customer.
Both resulted in a 3 to 5 day message.
Her credit line is only $1200 (not $12,000) and her scores just hit 700..
Her last increase was Feb 14th.
What happened to our signatures???????
