DW was given an Auto cli of $300 lol so her CL is $1500. Tried to double dip and was denied.
We will grow it somehow.
My cli request was denied again. 3 to 5 day message, like Brutal I am getting used to it and my last cli was 1/1/17.

Just got an auto-denial, no 2-3 day message, just we cannot increase your credit line at this time, or something to that effect.

Nope, not on the 60-day train either, apparently:
4/16/17, Instant Denial, TU FICO 8 659, 20% Utilization
So, TU is a little higher, and utilization is a little lower. Welcome to the Disco Doghouse! (Keeping hope alive that they denied me because they are going to give me an auto-increase when my statement cuts next week.)

No soup at 93 days. TU 662, Util $350. I'm gonna hit it again after my statement cuts, maybe that will make a diff. Never has before, but maybe it will now. I haven't been using it for a couple of weeks, and won't until I meet my NFCU CashRewards bonus spend, so maybe that will wake them up next month, plus I will have paid off the balance by then. 0% APR ends in July.
I know they are spooked right now, but hoping Disco hasn't completely lost that loving feeling. ![]()

CLI of $3k exactly 31 days since last increase.
Initial CL of 1k on (est) 12-10-16
First approved CLI on 4-13-17 of $1.5k
Second approved CLI on 5-14-17 of $3k
Total limit $5.5k ......yep it's a grower 😀
Nice, Justa! Congrats! ![]()
Thx Bella! Hang in there....your next increase is right around the corner!
Thanks for that highly useful chart, Bella. Upon looking at it and comparing it to my own situation (I currently have a 640 TU with the next score update on Discover scheduled for the end of the month, and a $2500 SL), it looks to me as if my first point for attempting a CL would be in late June, seeing that I was approved on March 22. Being 2 1/2 years past BK discharge, and having a paid civil judgment on my record that's about 1 year away from aging off my report, I'm prepared for the possibility that my CLI request will be turned down at that time for the same reason Disco gave you. Then again, if I ask for a relatively modest CL (say, $500 - $1500), it might be granted; I'd like to have both my Disco and Cap 1 unsecured Platinum get in line with my new Overstock.
31 days after my first cli, denied not enough history with current limit.
61 days after my first cli, denied not enough history with current limit.
Going to try one more time at day 91 and if still denied then I will try at 6 months.

Finally an Auto CLI from Discover! I've had the card since 2014 and have always been stuck at the SL of $1k.
Been paying down my debt this year as my scores went from 640 to 701 on TU. Also brought my balance down to 67% after making a $300 payment to Discover. Statement cut last week but logged in today and saw they auto CLI me from $1k to $1,400. Figured I'd go ahead and try the double dip. Approved for an addtional $500 to bring my limit to $1.9k and it also lowered the util on the card to 37%
.
That's awesome! Try to keep your utility below 30% and I'm sure more increases will be in your future!

That's the plan. Actually the #1 goal is getting my debt on all cards down to Zero (closer to zero) by September/October of this year.
I had Debt of $23k last November and its already down to $14k at 39% utilization. Still got a ways to go but I'm glad it will be over in a few months.
