Hey y'all!
I applied for the Disney Premier Visa card, as I am a huge fan of the mouse and go to the parks quite often. I already have the debit card, and was looking to add the card to my wallet to earn what equates to cash back in the form of Disney Rewards Dollars to reinvest back into the mouse. I had burned chase for $5K in the past in 2015, and it is unpaid so even though it is off my report (I know how well Chase's memory is) I don't have very high hopes. When I applied I got the dreaded 7-10 day message, which robo-lady is confirming. When I applied, I got emails about only TU being pulled so that is what I'll put below. Do you think I have a chance if I get a letter in my Chase portal saying I was denied and I call recon in the morning?
FICO: 689 (as of 5/8)
Inquiries: 8 (7 are from when I car shopped, will fall off in November this year)
Utilization: 23%
AAoA: 2 years, 8 months
Accounts: 9 cards, 1 auto loan
Payments: 99% on time
Currently at 3/24
No derogs.
What's the missed payment looking like?
Based on these stats you might be able to squeeze in an Elan Max Cash Preffered
As to Chase they're usually pretty lenient so long as you're under 5/24. It all comes down to what is that missed payment imo

How do you have no derogs if you burned Chase for 5k in 2015?

No derogs. How do you have no derogs if you burned Chase for 5k in 2015?
derog typically refers to information on the report, not internal histories with creditors.
so it's not on the report anymore, and assuming they have no other bad information on the report, the report has no derogs, but do they have a bad internal history with Chase that was unpaid

Even then, a 2015 CO or Bankruptcy should still be showing on a report wouldnt it? Unless Chase doesn't report COs or the likes to bureaus?
Derogatory items are deleted from the credit report 7 years after the date of first deliquency. That is how I have no derogs on my report now, but have a negative past relationship with Chase.

No derogs.
Update: I got the notice while sleeping that my application was denied. I called recon and had an interesting phone call. Normally when I call I'm asked why I want the card, explain any negative info on my report, etc. When I called, the anaylist only confirmed I wanted a recon, and that he put me on hold for 10 minutes or so, coming back every so often so say he was working on it, before coming back on the line and said he sent it off for further review. Said I will hear back within 24 hours, and to call on Monday if I hadn't heard anything by then. After an hour or so, I called to check and the robo-lady message changed from 7-10 days to two weeks! All things considered, I'm fairly confident that I'll be approved.

What was the DOFD of the debt?

The DOFD was around June of 2015, IIRC. Since it has been so long ago (plus with it being gone from my reports), I can't really remember when.

I'm being crazy because I apparently can't do simple math in my hand. Don't mind me.
