I was denied a CLI a couple months back on 1 of my AMEX cards. If I want to request a CLI on a DIFFERENT AMEX card, do I have to wait 6 months to do so?
Sorry about your denial. Yes, CLIs apply across all cards. But you don't have to wait 6 months after a denial, only 91 days. It's 6 months after a successful CLI request.
Yes you do. But it's 91 days after a denial on any card. It's 6 months if you are approved before you can ask for another CLI.
I'm wondering if those rules even apply now because the cli button only pops up when you are eligible for an increase? I honestly would check.

The CLI button is broken. It isn't showing up for people even when they are eligible to ask.

Broken? I thought it was just moved. I clicked the link posted here to get my increase and I wasn't even at 6 months yet?

I believe they're referring to the CLI link that used to appear on the home page under your avail credit info or under the Account Services tab. It had always been there... til recently...

So to clarify, when I say the "CLI button is broken," I mean the link to request a CLI is no longer showing for anyone, whether they are eligible to ask or not. The ability to request a CLI still works, if you can find the direct link (which you obviously did).
