Hi I've had my Barclays reward for 6 months now. SL was 1500. Can I ask for an increase now? Will it be a HP?
Your best chance at getting a SP CLI is to call up and ask for an APR reduction. They'll transfer you and process that request first. Once that's done, then ask if there are any SP CLI offers for you. This often is how people get CLIs without an SP. If you request one online or just call up and ask for a CLI, it will be a HP. Good luck.
It depends on how you request it; usually if you ask for a CLI via their website or through the phone they will HP. Many people have had success getting an SP CLI by instead calling in and asking for an APR reduction, at which point you'll get transferred to someone else who will check to see if you qualify for that. If you ask that person whether or not you have any offers, they can see if there's an SP CLI they can give you.
EDIT: Irish types faster than me ![]()

Good to know Irish. Wonder if that would work at Chase too?

No, it doesn't work with Chase. Chase doesn't reduce APRs and CLI request to them will result in a HP
