So i've had my Chase FU for about 9mo now and I just recently got approved for a Chase amazon siggy. When I login to my account online it shows 3 more cards im pre-qualified for and all I have to do is enter my income. Not that I really need 3 chase cards but If I do decide on this at some point would they HP for that since im already a member???
Absolutely. HP regardless whether the offer is pre-qualified in branch or online.
Chase is HP cuckoo. Almost like NFCU 😆
Chase is HPing you right now for making this thread.

You guys sure about it? I thought Chase did the HP when it approved OP's Amazon CC.
As far as I know, bank has to get permission to HP your credit. It can't HP your credit report as it wishes.
I just looked at credit report. I have two Chase pre-qualified offers. But I do not see any recent Chase HPs....

Just to clarify, the pre-screening mechanism is performed as a SP (on the back-end) to yield the offer. So, speaking from experience. Once you accept the offer that's when the HP (sometimes 2) happens. This isn't like Comenity SCT which in some cases results in a SP approval. BB&T and a few others may be the exception to the norm, but we're talking Chase here. So, HP once the individual accepts the offer.

This I agree. To generate the pre-q, no HP is done. But if you want to accept the offer and apply, then it is normal application and HP is done. Or most of the applications.
Just tossing this one out, Chase likes to multi-pull from different CRAs even with existing customers
