Does PenFed use same HP on second credit card app within 30 days?
Hi all. I was approved today for the PenFed Gold card. I read somewhere that if I apply for another card they will use the same HP. If I wait a week is that still the case? Anybody know?

In the past they used to, but that's no longer the case. There's likely outliers, however most individuals have reported a second HP. So, if you're looking to apply for another product, expect a separate HP.

I applied with PenFed to refinance my car...and when I inquired about the CC...they told me if I applied for a credit card that they may OR may not pull a new credit report..so I froze my EQ report and applied. I got an alert saying they wanted to pull my credit. No thank you. I had enough inquiries and I'll wait a little more. I've been denied a CC by them due to inquiries. I"ll wait.
