Does a new Amex affect a 181 CLI attempt on revolver or other cards?

Just got a PRG less than a week ago. My 181 on ED is today. I did get a 3x CLI from $500-1500. Does a new amex account affect CLI and program changes on others? I am not going to ask for CLI for a little bit anyway because my util is higher than I want, and my ED balance today is over 40% anyway. Maybe next month ill click the button.  Just curious.

From my understanding a new card will not affect your CLI, but you can only get one CLI on ONE card per 181 days. So if you have multiple Amex cards, you can only get a CLI on one of them, then you'd have to wait 181 to try for a CLI on another one. Also, I had a balance on my ED card when I got my 3x CLI (think is was around 30% util at that time).
