Does anyone else have issues with Comenity Capital?

I cannot seem to catch a break with them.  I can get credit cards from just about anyone else, but when it comes to getting credit cards with various stores, Comenity shows up and denies me.  I have received a few new cards recently so perhaps they see too many applications.  They are going to give me their "decision" in 10 days.

Re: Does anyone else have issues with Comenity Capital?

What stores have you tried?

What are your scores?

There is COMENITY BANK and COMENITY CAPITAL BANK  (usually for higher end - or Visa/MC/Disc)

Store cards are not a good way to rebuild and they are HIGH Interest

Which card(s) are you applying for?

What reason(s) are they denying the application?

What are your score(s) that they report?

If Comenity tells you they look at Equifax, is there something on Experian that would be a negative?  (Comenity tends to SP Experian also)

If you have lots of new cards, Comenity can refer to Innovis or other sources that may also merge data from the other three bureaus.

I was going to garden... Honest!

It is possible you have too many recent accounts. I have 2 cap 1 cards and now 3 Comenity cards. My most recent approval was an HSN pop up which I wasn’t even looking to apply for in the first place. Had some good perks and thankfully I was giving a $750 starting limit. That is by far the highest started limit I’ve had with any card. I was denied by Wayfair. I received a 7-10 day message. I spoke to CSR and they told me it’s probably verification. Unfortunately I received a letter and it was a denial.
