As I'm looking at your overall CLs, there just has to be one, just one that is itching to put you over the $500K hump. USAA, well you're tapped out on that one, ummm let's see, SYNCB... maybe? How much have you bugged them lately? LOL. Chase, definitely not that one (you just got some goodies)
Do you have any SP CLI offers on your Citi card?

USAA, well you're tapped out on that one, ummm let's see, SYNCB... maybe I've bugged them so much trying to increase Walmart Mastercard that they actually filed a dispute on my behalf that I didn't request? How much have you bugged them lately? LOL. Chase, definitely not that one (you just got some goodies) Chase makes me nervous now
Do you have any SP CLI offers on your Citi cardTried Citi but they keep stating that I have too many new accounts opened? I'm at a loss. The only for sure thing is a new Synchrony card but that'll likely be a store card and I don't want to do that.
@Finstar,
Let me give you your props. You were one of the most confident voices here that I woud reach 500k by year end. I must say that I doubted it. This was when I was back at 400k. It seemed like a longshot, yet here I am. Thanks for the support!

I'm very proud of you. You put your mind to it and ta-da! Here we are close to that mark before the end of the year! It is unbelievable (and surreal at the same time). Especially with your recent Chase approval (yes, my eye balls about fell out LOL). Big kudos on that accomplishment btw! And, sorry I hijacked your own thread. I don't honestly think you would have like Dollar Bank in the end - just my opinion (too small of a community bank).
It almost feels like the 12njoy telethon! Let's see if we can poll some members to provide some tips on getting you over that magical $500K (yes, half-million) mark!
Ok, so I think in the past you had no luck with Comenity right? Something that they see internally from BK or whatever it was? Can you afford a HP? My wheels are spining on trying to come up with a strategy here. One sec... oh crap, my pop corn burnt! LOL

OH no not the popcorn. Yes Comenity didn't like that old BK and told me that I would never get a card with them as long as the BK was showing (as if it will ever go away from the federal BK records). I can take a HP on TU. I guess I could take one on EX and EQ but they have a ton. 32 and 21 respectively. Don't see anyone in the giving mood with those many inq. I only have 8 on TU though. If the $600 doesn't happen, I'm ok with it considering I never dreamed I would be here. If only I hadn't closed that Capital One Platinum at 1k or that State Farm Visa at 4k. Oh well that's water under the bridge now though.

Now I remember the deal with Comenity - ok we'll skip them for now.
Refresh my memory on the SYNCB cards you have. I remember 2 BPs (Visa and store), TJX... what else. I think you could still get another CC but the issue might be whether it ends up a dual brand or plain store so that oucome can be iffy.
I don't see Macy's AMEX or Bloomie's AMEX on your siggy. Nordstrom Visa? Saks WEMC (Capital One) - even if approved for store can upgrade later. Cabela's? I'm just thinking outloud and throwing some of them that I don't see in your arsenal. Of couse, provided you have use for any of them. When was the last CLI on any of your Capital One CCs...was it recent?
If FASB/Equality CC would not have reduced everyone's CLs then we wouldn't even be having this discussion LOL.

Refresh my memory on the SYNCB cards you have (TJX, Walmart, ebates, Old Navy, 2 BP's) Just got increases on all last month with the exception of Walmart which was in April but they won't budge on another cli. I remember 2 BPs (Visa and store), TJX... what else. I think you could still get another CC but the issue might be whether it ends up a dual brand or plain store so that oucome can be iffy. Would likely be a store card, it I could get one. I don't see any that I could really use because of the store only card possibility.
I don't see Macy's AMEX or Bloomie's AMEX on your siggy. Nordstrom Visa? I'm afraid to apply for any of these Amex co-branded cards as I don't shop at any of those stores. I did try the Dillards since I have a massive credit line with Wells Fargo Visa and ended up with the store card
Saks WEMC (Capital One) I have four Cap One cards now and don't believe they would give me another since I just got cli's on all four cards this week - even if approved for store can upgrade later. Cabela's Isn't this Comenity?? I'm just thinking outloud and throwing some of them that I don't see in your arsenal. Of couse, provided you have use for any of them. When was the last CLI on any of your Capital One CCs...was it recent All this week?

I remember 2 BPs (Visa and store), TJX... what else. I think you could still get another CC but the issue might be whether it ends up a dual brand or plain store so that oucome can be iffy. Would likely be a store card, it I could get one. I just added Belk to my recent SYNCB collection - sure, it's a store card but they don't offer a dual card which is ok. I definitely was able to use it and they have some stuff that other stores like Elder-Beerman or Macy's don't carry (plus I wanted to test whether they could still approve me over the $100K individual exposure) I don't see any that I could really use because of the store only card possibility. Well, no sense to include anything of theirs that won't be of any benefit to you in the long run if you don't see any other potential ones.
I don't see Macy's AMEX or Bloomie's AMEX on your siggy. Nordstrom Visa? I'm afraid to apply for any of these Amex co-branded cards as I don't shop at any of those stores. Makes sense, if you don't frequent these venues, then no need for those. I did try the Dillards since I have a massive credit line with Wells Fargo Visa and ended up with the store card
Saks WEMC (Capital One) I have four Cap One cards now and don't believe they would give me another since I just got cli's on all four cards this week Well, see, that's the beauty of Capital One Private Label, the count for legacy cards is separate than the retail branded ones (I have Saks WEMC, Neimans, Menards, Kohls and 3 Capital One CCs (2 Ventures and 1 QS). In the former HSBC days, yes they placed limits on the number of cards you could have with them (5 I believe) - store or major bankcards - even if approved for store can upgrade later. Cabela's Isn't this Comenity?? Oh no no - not Comenity - they are UW by World's Foremost Bank (yes I know it sounds cooky - their CC HQ is in NE) I'm just thinking outloud and throwing some of them that I don't see in your arsenal. Of couse, provided you have use for any of them. When was the last CLI on any of your Capital One CCs...was it recent All this week Ok, we won't touch those then?
