Dollar Bank

Hey good folks at myFICO,

I applied for a Dollar Bank card at 11:30pm last night (Friday) and got a message that I would be contacted shortly regarding the status of my application.  The message stated that their credit services was available Mon-Friday from 8am-8pm so they were already closed by the time I submitted my application.  I received the following email today:

Dear me,

A decision has been made regarding your credit card application. Please
call 1-888-418-BANK to talk with a loan officer.  Our officers are
available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Thank you for banking with Dollar Bank.

Dollar Bank
1-888-418-BANK

My Question is does this sound like an approval pending verification of some kind?  This was all handled by their system since credit services hasn't been at the time of my application and won't return until Monday at 8am.  What are your thoughts?

I've never heard of dollar bank, are they related to dollar stores?

Don't know.  They're based out of PA and doe business in PA and OH (Cleveland area).  Pulled TU which was a plus

No. they are not. Local Cleveland and PIttsburg bank. just name is close to Dollar stores. means nothing. from what i read about them. They are not good. many horrible reviews. . but i wonder how 12njoy pulled this out of a hat.. Will check Credit pulls to see what he is looking for with them.

Couldn't find anything on creditpulls about dollar bank. I just took a chance with them and hoped for a TU pull

Wow,  I can't believe Dollar Bank is even still around- they are small with limited locations.
