I just did Banana Republic.  They have men's clothing which I wasn't aware of.  Approved for $500 store card.  That leaves $100 to go.

Woohoo!  We're getting close!!!  Btw, your BR store can eventually upgrade to the Visa so there's potential there (and it grows too).  I have the BR Visa - great card and great store/online promos and rewards.  You can use your BR card at GAP and Old Navy as well.

So, now, who can give us $100?  C'mon...big money, big money ...spin that wheel!

LOL.  The $100 may have to wait.  I can't take another store card.  I now have 3 store cards.  Hopefully Synchrony comes around on the Walmart before year's end.  I wish I still had one of my secured cards, I would have increased it by $100 to be at my goal.  I guess technically, I can say I have achieved my goal considering the Amex charge card isn't factored into the equation.

It's nice to see that your Dollar Bank thread has morphed into the $500K achievement thread LOL.

Ok, did you get a temporary pass or account # once it was approved?  If so, here's what I would suggest:  I know you already bugged Credit Solutions but it won't hurt to ask.  You can call tomorrow or Saturday.  Just let them know you were just approved for the BR card and would like more wiggle room (my favorite word) to accommodate some of purchases and don't want to max the account.  You can be conservative (if you want) and ask for $1K.  Go through the process and see what they say (fingers crossed).

One last ?   How about Discover?  When was the last CLI on that one?

Thanks finstar. I'll call credit solutions tomorrow. I did get a temporary card. That'll be my best shot. Discover cli was last week for $500. I'll have to get a new hobby after this 500k. Lol lol

We all started somewhere and you've done amazing.  Each stepping stone takes us to the next level.  For now, just take a little break and enjoy the fruits of your labor.  $500K is a great accomplishment!
