I need a BT card.
Got a 21 month 0% offer for BOA in the mail today,15.24% after....been getting offers for over a year so finally bit today. Waste of a HP. $500 CL. I have 2 at $15k and and 2 more over $5k, not to mention others at $2-3500. Current BOA customer, never had a card with them before. Spouse has one at $2500. Maybe I can recon, but meh. It's just insulting.
Sorry about the crappy credit limit OP. ![]()
Would you mind sharing a wee bit more about your profile? Like new accounts, inquiries?
I got a similar pre-screened offer from BoA today, and I was excited, ready to apply. Perhaps I should re-think that...
If you're looking for a BT card I'm guessing your utilization is not perfect? May be the prob.
Just realized my signature is WAY out of date! I haven't been on myFico in awhile! 1 inquiry in the last 6 months from Chase (new Sapphire and Freedom cards-$15k, $6k limits). Those are the only new accounts this calendar year, but did get an Amex last November for $10, since auto increased to $15k. EQ was 714 last I checked (a week ago or so) and overall utilization is less than 20%. Oh and yes the BT card was for that remaining 20% I am trying to pay off.
You can call an analyst and see about possibly getting it raised. Unsure if they would require another pull, but it's worth it IMO, since the $500 is useless and may as well have been a denial. Even if you wait and request a CLI later it's a hard pull anyway so doesn't really matter when you do it.

A 15.24% and only a 500 SL? Crazy. You helped me though, received same mailer the other day with ditto APR. In the trashcan.

Good point Elim. Or maybe too much credit compared to income?
