Dw wants to app

Wife want to app.

She wants cap1 and bofa

questions

can she do 2 cap1's with 1 HP?

shes really not intrested in another miles card.

is BofA inq senstive?

she gets pre qualifier mailers all the time for both

her profile, nothing bad at all on her CR,

oldest account 19yrs

aaoa is 6 yrs

socres EQ 754 TU 783 EX 776

inq 11 on EX TU 1 EQ 6

highest CL 30k, second is amex at 20k  and every card she has is a signature card with 10k or better. income 128k

of coarse i'd rather a TU pull or a EX, EX inquires are dinging her anymore,

she also gets citi prequalifiers too. But idk about them guys. Sometimes she prequalifies, sometimes she doesnt on their site

CapOne is a triple pull... not sure if they will triple pull you twice if you app for 2 different cards... but I think they will.

Re: Dw wants to app

The Cap One 2 cards with 1 pull is a YMMV thing.  With her profile, she should be able to get BOA easily.  Keep us posted on results should she apply.

yea she wanted the QS but I firgured might as well grab 2 if she could but looks like the venture or venture one would be the only second one...

So i'm guessing just the QS and BofA?

This came up for Citi

Enjoy 0% Intro APR on purchases and balance transfers for 21 months; after that, the variable APR will be 13.24%.

Capital one

0% intro APR until January 2017; 18.24% variable APR after that

BofA

Large spread in APR

Re: Dw wants to app

It seems your wife is very conservative when it comes to credit cards.  Does she want the Citi also or just two cards in general?

She only used to have 1 CC before we met, it was a 2500$ credit card. she mainly used cash. over time she has built up her credit profile. So shes not sure, She now pays everything on her amex because we get the delta rewards for flying. She was happy with that one card before but her scores were always at 725-750, never climbed until she started to actually get credit, So now she's looking at the whole " 0 % APR for X amount of time" or the balance transfers. She just had some dental work done a portion went on my care credit but me not wanting to max it out she put some on another card in which there will be intrest. We also have some braces coming up for kids and my credit isn't that stellar to get any type of no APR for X amount of time except the discover I just got. I did just get a discover but its only 3k 0% apr until next april, again not wanting to max it out, braces are going to be around the 5k range.

I guess it boils down to not wanting to just hand over $$ if we don't need to. If that makes sense. LOL

this was the DC offer from citi

Enjoy 0% Intro APR on purchases and balance transfers for 18 months; after that, the variable APR will be 13.24%

Re: Dw wants to app

Got it.  Citi has some good balance transfer cards but they are not known for giving high initial credit limits.  If it is massive limits she yearns for then Capital One should be able to meet that.

BOA is also a good option....  Does she have any Capital One cards now?

No on capital one. She currently has amex delta, amex BEP, then just stuff like walmart MC, sams club MC, couple comendity visas, bestbuy, a garnerwhite shes had forever, few others that are just junk for padding the UTI LOL

Even with nothing coming up on BofA she should be ok?

Re: Dw wants to app

Maybe just shoot for All 3? Some of those INQ are over a year old.

4 on EX are over a year old, TU is recent and EQ 3 are over a year old

EX 2 from this year TU 1 from this year and EQ 2 from this year

if this helps LOL
