EMAIL FROM MARRIOT PREMIER REWARDS CCARD OFFER

I received an email offering $100,000 points if I apply for the card.  Right now, my scores are low as you can see on the botton of my pg.  Cap One recently gave me a $250.00 increase which now gives me a credit limit of $1,000. (not much but it's a start). I have a  $300.00 credit balance which I will pay off tomorrow.  And, I have a 2nd card with a $750.00 cc limit which my balance is $450.00. Will the cli increase my credit score?  Because I want to wait till my scores get better before I apply for a Chase CCredit.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Starting Score: EQ 430, TU 467, EX 465
Current Score: EQ 617, TU 618, EX 611
Goal Score: EQ 700, TU 700, EX 700

My advice is do not apply until your EX and TU are over 680. This card has a minimum $5K starting limit, and I don't see you being approved.

Re: EMAIL FROM MARRIOT PREMIER REWARDS CCARD OFFER

OP - Please dont take this the wrong way..

You dont have much of a chance of getting approved. The only Chase card that you MIGHT have a shot at could be the Amazon Visa.. Even with that, I think your scores are on the low side.. Best bet is garden for a bit and go from there

NFCU $60.4k/PenFed $22.5k/Commerce $15K/53 $11K/Synovus $14K/BBT $11K/CapOne $12K/DCU $7.5K/BMO $7.5K/Chase $14.5k/Cabelas $10K/ and many many more!
Total CL $398600, plus car and RV loan.
Ooh. Ooh. Getting closer to that $500K mark!

I would definitely wait to apply for the card. Bring those scores up and maybe in a 6months to a year or so think about applying.

Re: EMAIL FROM MARRIOT PREMIER REWARDS CCARD OFFER

Would probably wait, unless it was a prequalified but it seems like it was just an offer for OP. I was still rejected for CSP with 690-700s across the board when I app'd. I just app'd for the marriott card and I'm waiting the results right now; I'll let you know if I get approved.
