lol... I love my CUs! I'm not a member of this one though. I came pretty close to opening an account with them a year or so ago.

No, this is not accurate. I get EQ Fico 05, every month, on the 18th. The bonus is new. Still, they make US Bank look liberal. They started as the captive CU for a large pharma company - still their primary customers.
I know they check ChexSystems for new accounts, I believe anyone can join now, but that is a recent thing, like the past 8 years or so. I have never gotten a credit card with them, so I don't know about their limits. I did do a auto loan at one point, and it takes > 740 EQ Fico 05 to get their best rate. They are ultra conservative in my experience.
