This works for all Amex right for example I got approved for both the BCE and Hilton Surpass on the same day , so would it be a good idea or bad idea to request 3X in 61 days for both ?You can only request a CLI on one at a time, so plan accordingly.
Can you elaborate on that?
So you're saying that if two cards are up for a CLI, you need to pick one? I never heard of this before, where did you get this info from?

Talking to AMEX the other day actually, regarding the same card, the lady told me that they need to see over $1k or close to $1k of spend on the card per statement period to trigger them to review the account and give you a higher CLI. Might be different for everyone, but that is what SHE told ME.
In your case, and if you have your funds available in your checking account at all times, It's really not dificult to do if you pay the current balance as soon as the charge posts. This is what i do on all of my cards below. I'm unable to do this for Hilton at the moment because i'm putting my spending on other cards.
You could wait the 30, 60, 90 days and try the CLI yourself.
She doesn't know what she's talking about.

I have never heard that card holders have to put 1k or close to 1k to be considered for a CLI. I know I didn't put that much spend on my AMEX Cards for a CLI.
CSR's like to make things up when they don't know the answers.

Well, like i said, that is what she told ME, whether she's right or wrong i do not know. She only told me this because i asked about a CLI on my $1k Hilton card...and that is what the answer was from her end.
When people call and ask a CSR what would help them get a CLI, it wouldn't surprise me if they just make things up like "well we like to see you spend 1k or at least close to it to be considered for a CLI".
Great marketing tool if AMEX is telling their CSR'S to tell card holders that. Lol!!

I believe you. It doesn't surprise me at all.
Can anyone clearify if Amex allows only 1 card CLI as I got approved for 2 Amex cards at the same time just minutes apart?
