FBNO needed docs

I applied for the card 4 months ago after the i prequalified for 11.6K, but I was denied the next day. I applied again last week and got prequalified for 14k .. so I applied again and went to pending for a week. I got letter for my SS, DL, and 2 years W-2 I went over and faxed the docs today. The rep said the credit dept will be back in on Monday. Has any one been denied after sending in the needed docs? Curious to see about my odds. Thanks!

From what I have seen (myself included) if you get the document request you are approved as long as what you send in matches what you put on your application but as always I am sure there are some outliers.

This bank seems to be randomly asking documents from some applicants, otherwise most applicants do get approved without asking for any documents. Now its not clear as to what factors play into triggering a request for documents...Is it a random thing or some factors do play a role into it???

I do have a fraud alert on Experian I wonder if that's playing a part 🤔

Fraud alert certainly would do it.  Know someone applied asked for documents and was due to fraud alert..
