Anybody know which version of FICO Synchrony uses for new account applications for the Amazon store card?
I'm sorry I can't really be of any help when it comes to which FICO version it uses, but I can tell you that you most likely can get the card even if your scores aren't great. The Amazon Store Card isn't picky with its customers. You might not get a high limit, but unless your credit is destroyed, you probably can pull the trigger.
Again, sorry I didn't answer your actual question. Good luck!

I just looked at an old 3B report and my Amazon Prime Store Card was pulled from TU.
Again I cant tell you what fico score they use but I can tell you my experiance with Synchrony. Back in march I tried to apply for the Google store card with them to get 0% financing on a Google Pixel and got denied, I only had 6 months of credit history with a car loan and deffered student loan. Fast foward to August andI got appoved by them for $1000 of paypal credit with only history of the car loan and 2 month with a discover student card. My fico score accroding to discover at the time was a 707.
Hope this helps.
it is FICO 08
Thanks for the prompt replies and info.
If I remember correctly They use TU FICO 08 and the minimum score is a 620 or 640. The requirements are quite low. The only card with an easier acceptance is the Walmart MC with 600. If your score is any lower you are officially in the deep subprime and are really unlendable.
You must remember that Amazon as an online merchant makes money by selling stuff for credit/debit and does not use cash. They have an insentive to make their own credit card or store card to make sure you can buy more stuff.
