FNBO - Pre-Qual Denial then letter

Reason = Potential for Fraud -

FYI - I was pre-qual'd for $15k at 24% then completed the application and wasn't approved and I got that letter.

The word they used wasn't potential but I immediately shredded it in my garage.

That sounds like an ID verification call would fix it.

I would agree with the others. Try to call and find out what they are talking about. I assume you don't have any fraud alerts on your credit files so it might be just a verification thing. Did you move recently or anything else that changed recently?
