I recently did the prequal for FNBO's Evergreen card and received a $14k limit (rough 24% APR, but expected since I'm still rebuilding). I went ahead and pulled the trigger and about a week later got the same W-2, license, SS card request others have gotten. I'm curious how often folks have done this hoop-jumping, been able to verify all their app info, and still been denied? Scores are 650-670 range for me (Experian they pulled was 659).
I mostly want this as a work travel card for now. I have a corp card, but it's a BMO Diner's Club so of little benefit and does nothing to build my personal credit. Most of my rebuilder stuff is still stuck at $1k or below level, save for working Mission Lane up to $2750. For some work months I'll run $5k-$10k in travel through and I'd love the help rebuilding my credit as well as the cashback.
Curious what others' experiences have been with this FNBO process?
If you decide to provide and mail the requested documents and if you meet their final UW criteria, then I couldn't see why you would not be approved. I would mail it CMRR, if anything. The SS card and DL would obviously be used to verify your identity and W2s to verify the income stated on the application. So, if it all matches up, you should be good.
I've had to scan my license for one card, and another had to provide POI, both approved, but it wasn't through FNBO. I don't think they would go to that much trouble just to deny, they may have spotted something on your report and want to verify that it's you.
I Got Denied on that Prequalify Approval, HP, Same 14k Amount,
After Being Approved 11.3k a Week Earlier from a Mailer..
Letter Said Too Many New Accounts.. Might Try Other Soft Pull PreQual Sites Also.. Are You Still With BMO? They've Been Really Good to Me & Great Service! Hope It Goes Well With Your Docs & Good Luck!😃

I've made several posts in the other FNBO threads that told about my experiences as well as some questions I had about the process but I thought I would reply here in case you hadn't seen those. My situation was very close to yours. I waited quite awhile in the beginning, just waiting and thinking that I might get denied, I was unsure of the whole thing.
Then I received a request in the mail asking for my last 2 years W-2 forms and a signed copy of my Social Security Card. I sent the copies in right away and it was only a day or two after FNBO received it that they emailed me saying I was approved. No mention of the limit. I called in around 4 days later and I talked to the customer service rep who checked for me and said that I had been given the same SL and interest rate that they had given in the pre-qualification. Mine were very similar to yours.
I think when they request additional information, they are going to try to approve an account if they can, depending on the information that they get returned to them. I was off a bit when I had entered my income when compared to my W-2 form but I had also used my spouses income and everything came out fine.
There were several other posters that posted their experiences in another thread as well and I remember some of them stating they had received the paperwork request too.
After I received the e-mail approval, it took less than 10 days until I had the new Evergreen card in my hands and I'm still happy over that one. It's a nice looking card and I'm glad to building a long term relationship with my 2nd card from FNBO!
I hope that you have the best of luck and have your new Evergreen card soon too.
Update:
FNBO received my documentation and I was approved for the Evergreen card with the same $14k SL that I received in the pre-qual process. Huge win in my rebuild, as I currently don't have a line over $5k.

That is excellent.
As the OP has provided an update on their application, this thread is now locked and closed to new messages.
OP - congrats on the FNBO approval 👍
