I got a prequalification from First National Bank of Omaha. I can't tell if it's a pre-quall or a preapproval. It doesn't really say. My question is who exactly are they? A mid sized bank based in Omaha NB, their prequals are pretty solid and they are very generous if you treat them right over time.
I know I've heard of them mentioned on these forms. But I didn't realize it was an amex card. I assume though its some other bank separate from Centurion Bank. Kind of like the Walmart discover card that's really a GE card. So one question I have is if it's not an actual AMEX will it still backdate to my first amex? No, has nothing to do with Centurion Bank, its a card that uses the AMEX payment network.
here's the thing I really don't get it. It says it has no preset spending limit and yet it shows an interest rate and a 0% interest intro period? I've never heard of a "non-charge card" with NPSL. If I can backdate this like its a regular AMEX I might pull the trigger. Can anyone with this card tell me? I have this card, its a flexible spending card and reports as such, it has a limit but you can exceed that and if you do you have to pay it back the next month on top of the minimum payment. If you are looking to build credit limits quickly this is one of the cards to do it with, you can call in and see if there is a pre approved SP CLI every 3 months.

FNBO is the bank that won a supreme court ruling that made it possible for national banks to charge much higher APR rates, which is a bad thing. The higher APR rates made credit cards much more available, and made much better rewards programs possible, which is a good thing.
FNBO offers free monthly Experian FICO scores. And apparently CLI via SP if you call and request it.
FNBO is of course NOT American Express. American Express is both a credit card company, and a credit card network. Some FNBO cards use the Amex credit card network.

The wife got the same offer here. Nothing really spectacular and we already have enough 0% intro cards so to the shredder it went.
