I was flat out denied when I applied in September. I called the recon next moring and after review the analyst told me that he is going to approve me for $2500 CL. I was like uummmmhhh I expected more. He said what were you expecting and I told him I was expecting at least $5000. He said that $2500 is the max they can offer. Later, when I got the card it had $5000 CL Smiley Happy

So IMO you should definately recon.

Re: Fidelity AMEX

Just got off the phone with FIA for a recon attempt: no dice.

Analyst asked about the high amount of INQ and I explained half were from me car shopping in July. Then asked about a car loan charge-off (actually due to fall off in Feb).

I asked if she would pull TU for me and she agreed to. Put me on hold for a few minutes, came back and said she thought about it and decided not to pull TU because the new accounts I had opened recently worried her. Said she would like to see some more history with them. Oh well.
