Got a pre qual offer in snail mail and was not too keen on app'ing but since Fidelity was not a common card issuer, thought it might be a good card to have.
App'ed and was given a 7 day message. Upon calling the support line, was told "it'll take upto two weeks" message.
Anyone with similar experience?
I had the AmEx version (SL $2k, bumped to $10k) which converted to the Visa 6-8 months ago the wife got a preapproval for the Visa - I assume because she's listed on my investment account as survivor, apped, approved for $2500 SL - it's in the sock drawer.
That said the 2% across the board cash back is not bad if you don't want to chase catagory rewards and in truth, I don't use mine much anymore.
Yes, Lifelock alerted me today about an Elan Financial application. My EX is frozen with the other two open. No damage if not approved
Elan or US Bank is a pain in the butt with applications. Be patient or stay away. The card is ok card to have.
Once you get your foot in the door with Elan/US, they treat you like family if you are a good customer. Have always had good luck and auto CLIs after 6 months.
Well, closing on this one.
Got a letter in snail mail yesterday that due to a security freeze, they were unable to obtain my CR. I had put in a sec freeze on my Experian but left TU and EQ open. Not thinking of lifting the sec freeze anytime soon...
So, I'll pass this one.
