Fidelity Visa

Does anyone know a good app status number for this card? I can't seem to come up with anything for Elan automated app status.

Re: Fidelity Visa

Funny thing about this card, I have a Fidelity brokerage account (stocks) and was invited to get the card back when it was an AmEx, applied, approved for a low SL of $2k, after 6 months went to $10k CL, I was also offered two spend bonuses, one when I first joined and another when they converted to Visa (I used both). My wife is a "co-owner" of my Fidelity stock account, not so much as an active owner, but more for access to the funds without going through probate should there be a need. Anyway, the first week of January Elan sent her an invite to join by USPS, no spending bonus, but pretty much a "pre-approved" so I filled it out online using the "invite number" and submitted. (This is where it might apply to your concerns).

I/we heard nothing by mail or email, but two days ago a Fidelity Visa Signature card showed up with a welcome package. SL was only $1500 but it has full VS benefits - I assume the CL will increase at 6 months, but it was never going to be her primary spend card. Most of her other approved cards as of late have SL's of $9500 to $16k. Oh, and the account starting date was 1/9/17, so it was about 3 weeks before we got the card.

Bottom line, Elan is kind of funky, you can email them, but probably best thing to do is just wait for something by USPS. I don't have a contact number for you, but based on my experience I'd just wait it out.

Re: Fidelity Visa

Thanks for your detailed response! I haven't had issues getting approved for us bank cards so I will try to be patient on this one Smiley Happy

Re: Fidelity Visa

I also have my retirement through Fidelity so this card and the US Bank Cash + are in my bucket list. I like that Fidelity deposits the rewards into my retirement acct. Alas I can't seem to get approved for either. Just got my US Bank decline letter. Basically too many new accounts. Sigh. Maybe one day.

Was the CLI automatic or did you apply for it? I was recently approved for this card but the SCL  was only $1.2k. It's better than a denial but definitely much lower than what I was expecting.
