Right.  That just seems way too long.  My first card with 5/3 (a couple years back) was for the SU2C MC and I submitted it online.  Then, I received an email notification on the status.  Since I knew the branch manager at the nearest location, I stopped by to provide them any required information.  From the time I submitted the application on 12/22 to approval it was roughly 9 days during the Christmas holiday.  It was approved on New Years Eve day and I had no prior banking relationship with 5/3.  I recently submitted my 2nd 5/3 application in October for the Real Life Rewards WMC online, it was approved within 2 business days.  So, I'm not sure what happened with yours - definitely odd.

so 5/3 decided to let me apply online for a card again and since my TU inquiries are down to 7 and my FICO 04 is the best. I did a Stand Up 2 Cancer MC. 

After anwsering a series of idenity questions, It said I will hear from them in days.

Then I receieved this email. I think its a 75% chance I got it, good luck OP. i am still rooting for u.

For some reason I was thinking you already had SU2C ddemari... So many CCs, so little time    Definitely keep us posted.  Based on what I did last month with the RLR and what I shared with you (and your last 5/3 experience), I'm thinking you're in for this one (email tiny footnote disclaimer).  I'm crossing my fingers you get approved!

They don't do instant approvals just FYI. This bank is in my area and they are very bizzare and sometimes with empty promises

Actually, I did app for a different type of card since then, but that was for the airline miles only -- BofA Alaska Airlines 12k SL and I already got that card and the 30k miles upon approval.  Just waiting for an answer from Fifth Third  sigh

The tiny foot note on the bottom of be email is key! From what I learned after my Real Life and Cash rewards Wmc's.

Op, so strange that screen you got would lead me to believe you are approved. I tried calling 5/3 earlier today, only had like10 minutes and could not never get a live rep on the phone. I'm going to wait it out on mine. Hopefully u see a card soon!
