Fifth third bank. Approved or denied?

I"m assuming this is an approval, but please enlighten me if I'm wrong.  I got a letter in the mail stating that I was pre-approved.

Honestly, it could go in either direction - even with a pre-approved invitation.  Best way to know for sure is if/when you receive a letter/disclosure in the mail which provides "Your Credit Score and the Price You Pay for Credit".   Then, usually after that the card follows.
