Finally Received My Discover It and Cap 1 QS1 cards in the mail! too early for a CLI?

Hey guys i finally received my Discover it card in the mail with a CL of $1.5k and mt Cap 1 QS1 card with a CL of $500. Both of them have low limits and i havent activated the cards yet. Is it too early to ask for a line increase? alsoowhat backdoor numbers should i call for both? i tried with discover but a csr told me to wit 3 months. which i think with the right account manager they may be willing to lift my limt. any tips or suggestions? thanks

Well Discover in 3 months you can ask for SP increase. Well tell you if HP is required or not.

Cap1 after 6 statements is auto CLI due to credit steps, Also Cap1 is always a SP CLI if asked

thx for the additional info skye, my cap 1 cards are my lowest limit one for $500 one for $300 so i will never use them maybe to purchase a small item pif then put it away until my CL is semi decent .

I got a SP CLI from Capital One before six months through the EO. You could try that. YMMV

Discover told me last night you can ask for a CLI after 90 days.  I asked if it would be a HP or a SP and he said it would be a SP, BUT if a HP is needed, they will let you know before proceeding.
