Finally have a Fico ;)

Pulled my Fico score this morning, through Experian, and I have a 750 Fico 08 score. Now, keep in mind, my AAOA is only four months, but, I've been told a lot of the time, cards can be auto-approved if you just a high enough score. I have Zero Inquiries on my experian report, as well, so that may very well help my case.

I honestly, would love to get another card. I'd like to be able to have atleast a $1,500 limit, but, would prefer something in the 2.5 range, if possible.  So. I guess what I'm asking is, is their any cards, I should look at right now? Are their any that *just* pull experian, and experian only?

Should I just wait... and let my score raise? I'm so impatient, but... I get the feeling, it's probably something I should consider.

Honestly since you only have four months of credit history, if it were me, I would wait until you had a year under your belt. But in answer to your question, try American Express. They usually pull experian. Good luck!

Remember instant approvals are not just based on scores.  The computer sees a lot more than that.  About the only creditor that you can pretty much guarantee will only pull Experian is American Express.  You might have a chance for one of their cards.

wait for 6 months on EXP AAoA and hit American Express up and enjoy..  Just like Irish stated or basically stated, don't want to twist his wordsSmiley Happy..

Then I would go for a discover as well after Amex approval

Re: Finally have a Fico ;)

I actually already have a Discover account, however, do you think I should get another? Smiley Happy

I know... some have talked about the Miles card, however... I personally haven't needed airline miles. I'd really prefer to get approved for a Freedom Card, and than maybe a Citi card of some sort.

Any Advice? Am I doing well, so far? Smiley Happy

Re: Finally have a Fico ;)

you have been an AU on the 10k and 7k cards for only 4 mos and you have a 750 fico?

Because I do not understand how in a period of 6 mos (2 mos as new credit and 4 mos as AU) even as an AU on high limit cards, your fico can be so high.

Is it simply time for me to get some sleep and turn this lappy off.....or am i missing something here ?!?!?! <cuckoo cuckooo> lol

FICO Scores are developed by Fair Isaac Corporation. The FICO Score provided by Experian is based on the FICO 8 scoring model and is powered by Experian
credit data. Many but not all lenders use the FICO 8 scoring model.
