Finally in with Amex! And now a question...

I've been rebuilding for the past several years and currently have 2 CapOne cards with $6k credit lines between them, a Barclay card with a $1500 credit line, and several store and rebuilder cards with small limits.

I've wanted an AmEx card for a long time, but delayed applying as my score has been in the lower 600s. I decided to try for the Delta revolver today and was approved for $1k!

Now my question: is there any point in trying for one of the charge cards today to use the same HP, or should I hold off?

If you want/need one of the charge cards, now is the time to apply to hopefully get use of the single HP.  Many people have success in getting both a revolver and charge card back to back.

Re: Finally in with Amex! And now a question...

I pulled the trigger on the PRG and was instantly approved!

I travel to Europe a couple times each year and having one of these along for any eventuality-such as needing a last-minute hotel room somewhere or buying a ticket-is great peace of mind.

Thanks!

And to think, Discover and Wells Fargo are only offering me secured cards on their sites, and every month LendUp sends me a mailer offering me a card with a $60 AF and 29.99% APR for a $300 limit with no perks 😄

Congrats on the approval for both! Amex is by far my favorite card, you'll love it!
