Just curious, I got a fingerhut card and went through the easy steps program Graduated with a CL of $250 and it's been that way for about 3 mos. I have a $0 balance, at what point do they give CLI? You can't ask for one online you just get the message that they review up to 10 times a year. Was curious to see how often others may have seen an increase or should I just close it out since it's my lowest card.
I started out at $500 and a few moths later they took me up to $800 and then after several purchases, at the 5 month mark they took me up to $1200 where it remains. If you use it they will increase but if you don't they typically wont after the initial raise.

I started out with the regular account at 500 then increased to 900 after paying off a purchase in full in one month then another increase to 1400 after having done the same. Since then (Oct 14) account has not been used, no increases either.
Fingerhut is really unpredictable, they give temporary increases all the time but if you don't use it they take it back, I've had an account with them for 15 years with perfect payment history and my limit is $750.

You have to use it often and PIF every few months and use it again in order to get increases. I bought a keurig, a couple dolls for my daughter, and a sony vaio and my macbook (not all at the same time but one by one and paid it off before I got something else) and that is how I got to 2200. Not sure I want to continue to use this or not but it is nice to have a credit line that high for me and my utilization right now.
I started at $250 after the Fresh Start and like everyone else is saying the more I used the card, the more the increases. What I noticed at first was that as soon as I'd pay off a purchase- I'd buy something small...maybe $20 or $30 - I'd get a small increase....then I'd wait a few months, buy something else and after about 1 year is up to $1800. It takes time, but the more you use it..the better it'll be.
It led me to being able to get a Secured MC from Capital One..Then a Comenity Store Card....and most recently ...2 Cap 1 Unsecureds
