I received a CC offer in the mail this afternoon through my union, which included balance transfers with a lifetime APR of 5.99%, and I took the bait but I was declined. Just wondering if anyone has had any success with getting First Bankcard to reconsider and/or has a good backdoor number.
FYI, my latest credit score (as of a few weeks ago) was 698, my utilization is extremely low (under 10%), and I have a good payment history, but I do have a BK that's a little over two years old. I'm thinking it's probably the BK that did me in. Do I have any chance of turning this around?
