I have Experian frozen. For some reason it seemed like every lender I applied with last year pulled that and I want to have a better distribution of my inquries. It wil also help me to cool it with applying when I know most lenders will pull EXP in my area. I thought First Tech was a strictly EXP puller, so I was curious that it went Pending instead of immediately denied. Is it possible they will pull another bureau? Or is this just to give them a chance to call me for the PIN? After this app is decisioned, I will also freeze EQ and TU and garden for a year.

They will send you a denial based on Exp being froozen.  Also unfortunately please don't talk about freezing CRA's due to whatever reason as yes I get hit all the time with EQ pulls as my area pulls that, but gotta keep it all CRAs not froozen.  If you choose not to please refrain from posting on this board about freezing a CRA as it is against the TOS . Thanks

OP, as CreditCuriousity mentions above, they will require EX unfrozen.  No, they will not pull an alternate bureau.  Lenders do not care about how uniform one wants to keep their CRs with regard to inquiries.
