Yeah, Discover is the worst...In the " YOU ARE QUALIFIED" game.
Yeah that line, is there anything I can do for you, really stings. Talk about adding insult to injury. Felt like she kicked me in my groin and then asked me if I was ok. How about you manually overide the decision that's something you can do to help. Oh well leason learned.

Discover was the last lender I wanted a card from. After my last denial I thought it wouldn't be possible until 2019 and then I get this in the mail and thought is it possible I might finally get in. It ended up being too good to be true. I guess I was a fool for falling for that one.

More than 24 hours have passed and no alerts of an inquiry. It's probably coming though.
Every time I get a mailer like that and get denied I visualize everyone at the bank breaking out in laughter and screaming, "I told you he would apply again!!!" And they all laugh and giggle, then go on smoke/coffee breaks and laugh a little more and share screenshots on their phones of my 7-10 day message.

FWIW mine was immediate. Did you ever call and ask about the first app that was possibly lost in the system? Their apps are def buggy in my experience.
I only called yesterday, to find out about the first app. That's when I re-applied over the phone and got denied. The online app status tells me I was denied too but no inquiry yet. From what I remember from my previous Discover apps I got alerted pretty much instantly after applying. Hoping the first app went through and somehow was approved but their system is buggy and my second app was auto denied since I had already used my invitation #. Crossing fingers.
